Paseo Highlands Assisted Living is a private single-family house that’s been converted into an assisted living facility. Remodeled in 2014, the spacious 3,500 square foot home features nine private rooms, one shared room, two full bathrooms, and four half-baths. 

The entire property is wheelchair accessible, and there are extended walkways in the back where residents can take advantage of the sunny Arizona weather. Paseo Highlands frequently hosts barbeques and outdoor picnics, and there’s a mist system on the patio to keep the residents nice and cool.

Paseo Highlands specializes in providing memory care for patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. In addition to providing assistance with all activities of daily living (eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transferring, etc.), the staff is trained to provide a reliable, structured environment with mentally stimulating activities that’s ideal for memory care patients.

Inside the Paseo Highlands Assisted Living home, there’s a great room with a large TV where residents can watch movies and television. The staff plans daily activities for the residents, including arts & crafts, bingo, and other games. The facility regularly hosts visiting musicians, including a women’s singing group that visits each week to sing with the residents.

For additional activities and socialization, there’s a nearby senior center that will pick up and drop off residents for just a dollar.

A beautician visits the Paseo Highlands Assisted Living home on a regular basis, providing haircuts, styling, and manicures to keep the residents looking their best.

The staff at Paseo Highlands Assisted Living provides medication administration services for residents. All medication is stored in a locked cabinet and carefully administered according to physician instructions.

Paseo Highlands Assisted Living contracts with a local physician to make house calls, so there’s no need to worry about transportation to the doctor’s office. The doctor performs regular checkups, and the local pharmacy delivers medication 24/7.
